Portsmouth make official announcement already ahead of 2025-26 campaign

Portsmouth are focusing on avoiding relegation this season while also looking ahead to the next campaign.

The Blues will play Millwall on Saturday (5 April) in their latest fixture as they aim to take the momentum from defeating Blackburn Rovers into the game.

With a five-point gap over the relegation zone, there is still a lot of work to be done before John Mousinho’s men can breathe a sigh of relief at knowing they will be in the second tier of English football next season.

There is still a chance that Pompey could suffer relegation this season if they’re not able to finish the season strongly, but the Opta supercomputer has predicted that they will finish the season 17th.
