‘Fratton Park to be bouncing’ as Portsmouth share ‘remarkable’ announcement
Portsmouth fans have a lot to be excited about given the club’s success in the Championship this season.
John Mousinho’s men registered a respectable 16th-place finish despite missing several key players for long spells this season.
If the Blues can keep their star players fit and make some astute signings this summer, the Fratton faithful may witness their side continuing to progress up the league.
Then, there’s the small matter of a South Coast derby against Southampton to look forward to. It will be the first time Pompey are in the same league as their local rivals since 2011-12.
All things considered, Pompey’s latest announcement regarding Fratton Park might not come as too much of a surprise.

Portsmouth share ‘remarkable’ season ticket announcement
In an official statement published on the club website on Thursday (5 June), Portsmouth announced that just under 14,600 season-ticket holders had renewed their tickets for the 2025-26 campaign.
This was described as a “remarkable milestone” that outlines the passion and loyalty of the fans.
Those who want to change their seats ahead of the new season can do so between Friday (6 June) and Monday (9 June), either over the phone or at the Anson Road ticket office. There’s no online service available for changing seats.
After that, the club will make an announcement regarding those on the waiting list for a season ticket at Fratton Park.
Fratton Park will be bouncing next season
Almost every Championship game at Fratton Park this season was a virtual sell-out, and it looks like that will be the case next season as well.
The atmosphere created by the supporters will have played a big role in the team’s impressive home form this season.
No doubt that they’ll continue to make ‘Fortress Fratton’ an intimidating atmosphere for opponents.

Many supporters would be excited to hear news of the stadium being expanded, particularly those who are on the waiting list for a season ticket. For now, they’ll have to make do with plans to upgrade the Fratton Park playing surface.
With their tickets renewed, the fans’ attention will turn to the Blues’ playing squad for the new season. Pompey have been linked with big-money signings like Gambian forward Abdoulie Manneh, but no new recruits have been added to the squad so far.
