Yang Min-Hyeok signs from Tottenham – Who is Portsmouth’s latest arrival?
Portsmouth have added to an impressive transfer window so far with the addition of Yang Min-hyeok from Tottenham.
Yang spent time on loan at Queens Park Rangers last season, and much like with Florian Bianchini, John Mousinho had an ideal opportunity to scout him out.
The South Korean came on as a second-half substitute in the 2-1 win over QPR in February, and Mousinho will have been keeping an eye on the youngster.
Here, Pompey News provides a bit more information on who the latest arrival at Fratton Park is.

Yang looking to follow in Son Heung-min’s footsteps?
Yang joins a solid group of signings made by the Blues this summer.
Mousinho strengthened his midfield with the signings of Mark Kosznovszky and John Swift and has now strengthened both wings with Yang and Bianchini.
Yang is a talented and aggressive winger who became known for his speed and confident dribbling when taking on players during his time in his home country.

At the age of 16, the South Korean made his debut for Gangwon FC, and became a symbol of the rising generation of young, talented footballers in Korea.
He was named K League 1 Player of the Month in July 2024, becoming the youngest player to win the award.
- Yang has won: K League 1 Young Player of the Month (April, May, June, July, and October 2024)
- K League 1 Player of the Month (July 2024)
- K League 1 Best XI (2024)
- K League 1 Young Player of the Year (2024)
- Korean FA Young Player of the Year (2024)
Yang completed the 2024 K League 1 season before signing a six-year contract with Spurs and officially joining the North London side in January.
The youngster has shown a strong commitment towards succeeding in England and even studied extra English before heading to QPR on loan.
He struggled to nail down a place at Loftus Road, but still showed plenty of promise, making 14 appearances in the Championship, scoring two goals and providing one assist.

Portsmouth continue their smart recruitment
It remained to be seen whether Pompey could replicate their fine recruitment last season.
In a tough environment, Portsmouth have done well to secure the likes of Australian Adrian Segecic but also mix up their transfer approach and sign players on loan.
Mousinho again mastered his way through the free agent market by signing Swift, and there is no doubt that there is more recruitment to come.
