Portsmouth will have Tom Lowery available for their blockbuster League One clash against Bolton Wanderers, according to BBC South journalist Andrew Moon.

The 26-year-old midfielder has not featured for Pompey since the 3-1 win over Cambridge United on 13 February due to a hamstring injury.

However, Lowery has provided a boost to manager John Mousinho prior to the trip to the Toughsheet Community Stadium, where victory will seal Portsmouth's return to the second tier for the first time since the 2011-12 season.

Posting on X, Moon wrote: "Tom Lowery is back in full training and available for Saturday. Callum Lang trained today but Saturday comes too soon. Tino Anjorin is fine."

At the time of his injury, Pompey boss Mousinho admitted he had made a "mistake" by not resting Bowery (the72) and the injury list at Portsmouth has been pretty extensive, which makes their charge for the title all the more impressive.

The return of Bowery for the Bolton fixture is a welcome one, although Moon's admission that Callum Lang is not yet ready to return is obviously a disappointment but Tino Anjorin being fit is another bonus.

This weekend promises to be a blockbuster one for Portsmouth. The outcome of their promotion fate is well and truly in their own hands and they will be desperate to get over the line at the first opportunity.

It has been a fantastic campaign thus far, now the focus is on getting the job done, and getting this wonderful football club back in the Championship in what will hopefully be another step on what would be a remarkable return to the Premier League one day.
