Is Portsmouth vs Millwall at risk of postponement after new Met Office warning?
Portsmouth and Millwall fans will be keeping a close eye on the weather forecast ahead of next weekend's clash at Fratton Park.
The sides are scheduled to face off on the South Coast at 12:30pm on Saturday.
Prior to that, Pompey play their game in hand against Wolves on Tuesday night.
That means John Mousinho's men could be up in eighth place by the time the match with Millwall comes around.
Alex Neil's side are 12th in the Championship, currently one point above Portsmouth.
Ahead of the match, a weather warning has now been issued by the Met Office for bad weather.
What is Met Office latest ahead of Portsmouth vs Millwall?
The Met Office issued an update on Monday covering South Wales and plenty of the South Coast.
That includes Portsmouth, with a yellow warning in place for high winds on Friday as things stand.
As per the Met Office's own website, a yellow warning means "a slight chance of some damage to buildings, such as tiles blown from roofs".
There is also "a small chance of injuries and danger to life from flying debris.
Transport could be impacted, meanwhile, and power cuts could also occur.
However, games are not usually postponed based on a yellow warning alone.
Only if that develops to amber, or indeed red, would the game then be called into question.
Given this yellow warning is currently only in place for Friday, the day before the game, there seems very little chance of the Millwall match being under threat.
What was most recent Portsmouth game to be postponed?
It was not that long ago - just seven months ago, in fact.
Pompey saw their home league clash with Ipswich Town called off in March due to bad weather.
That was the second time the game had been postponed, with the previous occasion happening in February due to heavy rain and a frozen pitch.
Fingers crossed the weather does not deteriorate to those levels this week as Mousinho could do without any further disruption to the schedule.
