John Mousinho has named his starting XI for Portsmouth as the Blues take on Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road in the Championship.

Callum Lang returns to the Pompey line-up for the first time since scoring at Burnley on 21 September, taking the place of Elias Sorensen, who drops to the bench after missing a penalty against Oxford United in the last outing.

Nicolas Schmid retains his place between the sticks with Will Norris once again absent from the entire matchday squad, as Jordan Archer is in as the substitute goalkeeper.

One change to Portsmouth side v QPR

Pompey fans will be delighted to see Lang back in the side after the former Wigan Athletic man's positive individual start to the campaign, scoring three goals.

Lang, Christian Saydee and Josh Murphy will be fluid and interchangeable as the attacking three behind Mark O'Mahony.

Elsewhere, Mousinho will be aiming for some stability with 10 players keeping their places from the Oxford game in which Pompey created 22 attempts at goal - albeit being held to a 1-1 draw.

Teenage starlet O'Mahony once again leads the line up top after scoring in each of his last two games, with Kusini Yengi finally back in the squad as a substitute with Blues supporters hoping he will play some part in West London.

Marlon Pack once again captains the side with Freddie Potts sitting alongside him, while former QPR man Andre Dozzell has to settle for a spot on the bench at his old stomping ground.

Connor Ogilvie must perform at left-back with Jacob Farrell having tweaked the MCL in his knee, while Terry Devlin is among the subs named as he looks for more minutes.

Jordan Williams is again named at right-back, with the trusty centre-half partnership of Regan Poole and Tom McIntyre headlining the defence in the continued absence of Conor Shaughnessy.
