Portsmouth are looking to make it back-to-back wins for the first time in 2026-27 against Norwich City.

John Mousinho's side take a trip to Norfolk on Saturday afternoon for a Championship clash with the Canaries.

Pompey make the journey full of confidence, after defeating Sheffield United 3-2 at Fratton Park on Wednesday night.

Meanwhile, Philippe Clement's Norwich are in a dismal run of form, losing their last five games on the spin in all competitions.

Depending on how you view it then, this is either the best time to play them or the worst, and they have lost four of those games by a one-goal margin.

Pompey News predicts how Mousinho will line his team up at Carrow Road on Saturday afternoon.

John Mousinho rolls the dice with Jayden Meghoma call

Mousinho is looking for some stability between the sticks, and so Nicolas Schmid may again start this weekend.

In central defence, Regan Poole and Madiodio Dia could once again form their strong partnership.

At left-back, Jayden Meghoma has had a rough few games, and has picked up successive bookings against Southampton and Sheffield United.

So, Mousinho may drop the Brentford loanee and move Zak Swanson over to left-back.

That would open up the right-back spot, and Terry Devlin could earn another chance at making that position his own in Norfolk.

So, with a slight rejig at the back, might Mousinho tinker with his midfield at Carrow Road?

Marlon Pack blown away by 'absurd' moment in Portsmouth win vs Sheffield United

Midfielder could drop out after Sheffield United start

Moving into central midfield, captain Marlon Pack was excellent against the Blades on Wednesday, and could make his ninth start of the season.

However, his engine room partner in midweek, Iyad Mohamed, wasn't able to really catch the eye.

The Comoros international came into the side in place of Ebou Adams, but Mousinho may swap that around and start the latter again on Saturday.

On the left wing, Mousinho put faith in Ryan Kavuma-McQueen on Wednesday and he repaid that with an assist, and may keep his place.

Abu Kamara was his usual lively self in midweek, and could retain his spot on the right.

Adrian Segecic found the net from his attacking midfield position, and might again be tasked with performing this role against Norwich.

Marko Milovanovic returned to the starting lineup to lead the line against Sheffield United, as Mousinho looks to supply him with more minutes after his injury.

With Colby Bishop out of form, Mousinho could again side with the Serbian striker to start at centre-forward in Norfolk.
