Portsmouth are looking to sign more new players in this summer's transfer window.

Portsmouth have already captured Adrian Segecic on a free transfer, and manager John Mousinho has outlined his desire to make at least five or six additions to his squad.

However, given the limited transfer budget at Fratton Park, there are a few players who he should consider selling as well.

Below, Pompey News explores three players who could leave Fratton Park this summer.

Tom McIntyre could be the next defender to leave

The towering centre-half was sold to Lincoln City after being deemed surplus to requirements by Mousinho.

It would be no surprise if Tom McIntyre follows him out the exit door.

McIntyre was loaned out to Charlton Athletic last season, and it's believed that Mousinho doesn't think he can cope with the demands of the Championship.

The sale of McIntyre would still leave Portsmouth with four centre-backs to choose from, plus others who can slot into that position if needed.

So, it would make sense to get a transfer fee for McIntyre now, rather than sending him out on loan again.

Portsmouth should cut their losses on Kamara

Abdoulaye Kamara was bought from Borussia Dortmund last season with a lot of expectation on his shoulders.

The fee paid for the Guinean midfielder was undisclosed, although it was believed to be close to £1million.

Kamara featured in a handful of Pompey's early Championship games, but hasn't made it onto the pitch since January 2025.

Mousinho has blamed a change of tactics for Kamara's lack of game time. Other fans have suggested he's simply out of his depth. Either way, it may be best to sell him now and try to recoup some of the money spent on him.

Portsmouth fans can expect a goalkeeper to leave

Four first-team goalkeepers have reported for pre-season with Portsmouth.

Two of those can expect to barely make it to the substitutes' bench, so it would be no surprise if at least one goalkeeper was to be sold this summer.

That leaves Jordan Archer and Toby Steward as the least likely to be used in the coming season.
