Portsmouth target three goalkeepers as Nicolas Schmid replacement

Nicolas Schmid is expected to be out for up to 12 weeks after suffering an injury against Southampton.

Ben Killip and Josef Bursik can stand in, but there are other options available to Portsmouth if they choose to bring someone new in.

Fraser Forster, Alfie Whiteman and Tom Glover have all been mentioned as potential targets for Pompey, with all bringing different attributes to the role.

All three are free agents and could come to Fratton Park immediately if they are needed.

John Mousinho's Southampton comments labelled 'harsh'

John Mousinho had plenty to say following the scoreless draw at St. Mary's on Sunday.

The Pompey boss felt that Tom Fellows was at fault for the injuries to Schmid and Conor Ogilvie, saying he pushed the defender in the back, causing the collision.

Speaking exclusively to Pompey News, Ian Darke disagreed with Mousinho's assessment, calling his comments 'harsh'.

Darke was very complimentary of the job Mousinho has been doing at Pompey, but felt he got this one wrong.
