Portsmouth: Abu Kamara shares personal ambition after what he did v Bolton
Abu Kamara shared his personal goal to provide more goals and assists after his strike in the 1-1 draw with Bolton Wanderers ultimately helped secured promotion to the Championship.
The on-loan Norwich forward scored his eighth League One goal of the season and 10th in all competitions at the Toughsheet Stadium on Saturday (13 April) as Pompey secured their place in the second tier.
Kamara also has 10 assists in the league but the 20-year-old thinks he can still contribute more to the goalscoring cause.
Speaking to Portsmouth’s official website (15 April), Kamara said: “It’s not too bad, but I always want more goals and assists, so hopefully I can still add to that before the end of the season.
“It was probably one of the best I’ve scored on Saturday and I was pleased with the little reverse finish.”
Will Portsmouth sign Abu Kamara on a full transfer?
Kamara has been an excellent addition to the Pompey ranks this season and has been a crucial cog in the machine that has achieved its ultimate aim of promotion under John Mousinho this season.
However, the 20-year-old is, of course, only on loan and his impressive performances at Fratton Park are sure to have caught the eye of the hierarchy back at Carrow Road and they may fancy utilising him in their first team next season.

Of course, that may depend on if Norwich manage to get promoted to the Premier League with the Canaries still challenging for a play-off spot in the Championship and a ticket to the top flight.
So, there may be a chance that Portsmouth could still do a full deal for the exciting youngster and the Pompey fanbase would certainly love it if he were to become a full-time addition at Fratton Park. Let’s see how it plays out this summer.
