Portsmouth CEO Andrew Cullen shares when 2024-25 season ticket prices will be announced
Portsmouth CEO Andrew Cullen has confirmed that season ticket prices for the 2024-25 campaign will be announced in early May.
Pompey sealed their return to the Championship earlier this week and celebrated winning the title in front of the Fratton Park faithful on Saturday (20 April).
After next weekend’s dead-rubber with Lincoln City is out of the way, focus can then turn towards next season.
And Cullen says more information on season tickets will be announced in the next couple of weeks.
“Women’s and men’s season ticket prices will be announced in early May and the move to a new website and enhanced digital content channel will also be completed over the course of the summer,” Cullen wrote in his programme notes for the Wigan Athletic game.
When does the 2024-25 Championship season begin?
There may still be one weekend of action to come in League One, but Portsmouth fans can be forgiven for already looking ahead to August.
The new Championship season is scheduled to begin on the weekend of 10/11 August and conclude on 3 May, 2025, as per the EFL’s official website.
Before all that it will be a busy summer at Fratton Park off the field as the club continue renovating various parts of the ground.
It seems likely that the season tickets will be snapped up in no time at all, with supporters’ faith being rewarded after so long in the lower tiers.
The long-term dream is that Premier League football will be back at Fratton Park one day, but for now Championship football is very much welcome.
It is a just reward for the players and coaching staff after a sublime 2023-24 campaign, the momentum from which can now hopefully be taken into the summer and the new season.
