
Portsmouth make formal offer for Aiden O’Neill as Standard Liege respond – report
Portsmouth have had a bid for Standard Liege midfielder Aiden O’Neill rejected, according to Will Unwin.
Writing on X on Tuesday (July 2), the journalist claimed that despite the initial rejection, the Belgian club are still open to selling the midfielder to address their financial needs.
O’Neill, who began his career at Burnley, has garnered interest from other Championship clubs such as Plymouth, as well as from teams in Turkey and MLS.
The 25-year-old made 20 Belgian Pro League appearances and scored one goal for Standard Liege last season.
