Portsmouth agree Thomas Waddingham transfer
With Elias Sorensen already moving on and Sammy Silvera returning to Middlesbrough, attacking space has opened in the squad.
Neither were first-team regulars at Fratton Park, but the money made available from their exits has allowed Mousinho to make his move.
Queens Park Rangers and Sheffield Wednesday had also made earlier bids to sign Waddingham, so winning this race would be an impressive coup (The News).
Colby Bishop has returned with relative success over the past couple of months, but adding another pair of legs would be a massive help for the number nine.
Pompey are now entering a crucial period, with their games in hand against Blackburn and Millwall coming up in the next two weeks.
The addition of Waddingham could help with crucial points to stay in the Championship, worth whatever money they could be made to pay.
This could now move very quickly.
