Kwadwo Baah sends explosive message to Portsmouth fans after Watford news
Portsmouth fans’ spat with Watford forward Kwadwo Baah has reignited after the player aimed a social media message at the Blues on Wednesday night.
Baah posted on his X account (22 January) claiming he will be “back stronger” from the injury he picked up this week, and has promised Pompey supporters he will aim to return in time for “your almighty Fratton Park”.
The 21-year-old sparked a furore on Boxing Day after Watford’s dramatic win over the Blues at Vicarage Road, celebrating in front of fans and players with a dance synonymous with video game Fortnite.
An ongoing spat has since rolled on and spiked again in the wake of Baah’s injury, from which he hopes to have recovered in time for the reunion at Fratton Park with the Hornets on 21 April.
The winger posted: “Be back stronger. P.S. Don’t worry, Pompey fans, will try my best to be back for your almighty Fratton Park,” followed by a salute emoji and a laughing emoji.
Portsmouth v Watford will carry added spice in April
Portsmouth could be well in the mix to scrap for survival or could even have moved comfortably towards mid-table by the time Watford visit in late April.
Pompey fans felt hard done by at Vicarage Road during the festive period. The Blues have faltered away from home on so many occasions this season and actually performed relatively well.
Baah was heavily involved in proceedings that day and even more so at the final whistle, when he made a beeline for the away section and took great pleasure in giving a few pelters out.

The line appeared to have been crossed in a professional sense when he continued his dancing antics in front of the visiting players.
The online back-and-forth between Baah and Pompey fans has continued in the wake of the youngster’s social media post, and should he be fit for Fratton, he will receive a pantomime villain welcome and then some.
In other Portsmouth news, Keith Hackett believes Callum Lang deceived the referee to win a penalty against Stoke City during Wednesday’s win.
