John Westwood rattles Leeds fans with what he did in shock Portsmouth win
Leeds United fans were less than appreciative of infamous Portsmouth fan John Westwood in their defeat at Fratton Park on Sunday.
Pompey welcomed the Championship leaders to the south coast on 9 March and secured a superb three points thanks to a Colby Bishop strike.
The Whites struggled up against the physicality of John Mousinho’s side but didn’t go without their chances as Nicolas Schmid made multiple top saves.
The result went against the travelling fans who were left raging about the result and the antics of superfan Westwood during the clash.

Westwood frustrates Leeds United fans during defeat
The 61-year-old is well known for his love of Portsmouth shown by his 60 Pompey-related tattoos and club initials engraved into his teeth.
As a supporter at Fratton Park, it is nearly impossible to miss his large stove pipe hat and blue and white dreadlocks.
A key factor of his matchday routine in PO4 is Westwood’s cowbell, which can be heard ringing throughout games and clearly got on the nerves of the Leeds faithful.
It is safe to say that the Whites’ frustrations were already high when Dan James wasn’t awarded a penalty for a challenge from Matt Ritchie.
Adding the consistent ringing of a bell to this annoyance was clearly enough to tip some others over the edge at Fratton Park.
One took to X (9 March) to share their anger, saying: “Has someone taken a cow bell to a football match? That’s borderline worse than the drums!”
This was paired with two sickened emojis and two angry emojis, which sums up their emotion.
Another said: “Portsmouth are one of the most tinpot clubs about, I’m sorry a drum and a cow bell, ******* weirdos.”
It is fair to say that if Westwood’s goal was to get on the nerves and rattle the Leeds fans, he’s done an excellent job based on these reactions.

Portsmouth deserved win v Leeds United
Regardless of any cowbell ringing, there is no doubt that the home side were deserving of all three points in the spring sunshine.
Josh Murphy was excellent and came so close to doubling his side’s advantage with a curling effort with just minutes remaining.
The winger’s performance was just the tip of the iceberg but summed up everything that was good about Mousinho’s side.
It is fair to say that the rage and frustration of the Leeds fans has come about due to the excellence of Pompey in keeping their side quiet.
The fact that Westwood has managed to get this sort of reaction during the game will only make the three points sweeter for fans on the south coast.
