Frank Lampard’s side are going to be hard to beat for Pompey

Coventry’s attacking momentum under Frank Lampard demands a compact defence and Pompey’s backline must stay organised to neutralise their pacey forwards.

Mousinho should prioritise midfield control, using energetic pressing to disrupt Coventry’s rhythm, while relying on key players like Colby Bishop to capitalise on counter-attacks.

Set pieces could be decisive, so sharpening dead-ball routines is essential and not be lacklustre like they were against Preston.

With 3,000 vocal Pompey fans boosting morale, Mousinho must instil confidence and adaptability, ensuring his side remains clinical and resilient under pressure at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
