Portsmouth ‘already have transfer ready’ after John Mousinho admission
Portsmouth are already planning for the upcoming transfer window as John Mousinho made an admission about a potential deal.
Pompey are fighting for Championship survival as they sit 17th in the league table after 38 games.
The Hampshire outfit will face Blackburn Rovers next at Fratton Park on Saturday (29 March), with three important points on the line for both teams.
Despite the uncertainty of relegation, though, Mousinho’s team seem to have laid plans for what’s to come next summer.

Championship survival key for Portsmouth ahead of transfer window
Portsmouth will arguably need to survive the drop to League One in order to keep some of their players.
Josh Murphy has been a revelation at Pompey this season and there will undoubtedly be interest in the forward in the coming months.
Callum Lang is another player who has shone at Fratton Park in the current campaign, currently leading the goalscoring charts at the Hampshire outfit.
Mousinho will possibly need to ensure his team are playing in the Championship next season to convince his best players to stay if interest arises.

Mousinho admits Freddie Potts loan return on cards at Fratton Park
Portsmouth must push for Freddie Potts’ return after his current loan deal expires.
Pompey signed the 21-year-old on a temporary move from West Ham United last summer, and he has become an essential player for Mousinho this season.
Potts has signed a new contract at the London Stadium until 2029, and while a permanent transfer looks unlikely, the Hampshire outfit should push for another loan.
Mousinho has admitted Portsmouth will be in the race to sign the West Ham loanee once again next summer despite his deal being renewed.

Speaking in the pre-match press conference ahead of the Blackburn fixture, as relayed by The News (26 March), the English manager said: “I think so. Hopefully, we have shown over the past couple of seasons to clubs higher up the pyramid that we’re a good club to loan players to.
“We want good players in who can play at the level — and Freddie is certainly one of them.”
Potts has formed an impressive partnership with Andre Dozzell at Pompey, with Mousinho relying on the two players in his engine room.
It isn’t surprising to see the Hampshire outfit already thinking about getting the 21-year-old back on loan from West Ham at the end of the season after his displays at Fratton Park.
Portsmouth will arguably need to survive relegation, though, to potentially convince the Englishman about a second stint at Pompey.
Even if Potts doesn’t return to the Hampshire outfit, fans will fondly remember the midfielder if he can help them retain their Championship status.
