Portsmouth ‘can seal perfect Josh Murphy replacement’ after new transfer news
Josh Murphy is likely to be a player on the radar of several clubs in the summer, having impressed throughout the season at Portsmouth.
Portsmouth remain on course to achieve survival in the Championship, and until that is confirmed, their focus will remain fixated on it.
However, when that time comes, Portsmouth will have a number of decisions to make on the recruitment front, with signings to be considered alongside the future of several first teamers.
Murphy has been integral to their season so far, and with 17 goal contributions in the championship, Pompey may face a task in the bid to retain his services.
With that said, if an exit were to happen, Portsmouth could seal an instant upgrade on their attacking outlet, with the signing of a League One star who is out of contract this summer.
Kwame Poku would be a dream addition for Portsmouth
Especially in the absence of Callum Lang, Murphy has had a step up to the occasion and provided the goods for the Blues, and he has certainly succeeded in his attempt to do so.
