John Mousinho ‘pathetic’ as Millwall v Portsmouth fallout continues
Millwall fans have been less than impressed by what Portsmouth boss John Mousinho has had to say about them.
Pompey made the journey to the nation’s capital on Saturday (5 April) for their latest Championship fixture, with Millwall coming out on top in what was a disappointing result for the Blues.
A Mihailo Ivanovic brace was enough to secure all three points for Alex Neil’s men as Andre Dozzell’s 80th-minute goal wasn’t enough to inspire a comeback from Pompey.
Portsmouth failed to capitalise on the momentum from defeating Blackburn Rovers, with the defeat keeping them in the relegation battle.
Portsmouth are currently 17th in the Championship and are just four points above the bottom three, which is setting off some alarm bells for many people.
They have just six games left this season to salvage their status in the second tier of English football, which is what the Opta supercomputer predicted they would do.

John Mousinho has called out Millwall
While the result was disappointing for Portsmouth, it wasn’t Mousinho’s biggest issue coming away from The Den.
That’s because Mousinho was left furious with the Millwall fans for the “discriminatory language” that they used throughout the game.
Match Stats | Millwall | Portsmouth |
Possession | 48% | 52% |
Total Shots | 14 | 6 |
Passes | 263 | 294 |
Fouls | 20 | 13 |
The Pompey boss had spoken to referee Ben Toner during the game and reported it to the fourth official, which led to play being briefly stopped in a bid to deal with the issue.
However, Mousinho has now called for football chiefs to step in and take further action afterward, as he was unhappy with how Millwall handled the situation on the day.
Of course, this isn’t the first time that the behaviour of Millwall fans have been called out this season, with the supporters making some disgusting chants during their FA Cup fixture against Crystal Palace as well.

Millwall fans don’t care for Mousinho’s comments
Sometimes fans can hold their hands up and accept that they’ve not behaved at their best after being called out by an opposing manager.
However, that hasn’t been the case online as Millwall fans have simply fired back and made it clear that they don’t care about being called out by Mousinho.
