West Ham hero reacts as huge Millwall punishment mooted after Portsmouth allegation
Portsmouth manager John Mousinho was subject to abuse from the Millwall fans in the defeat at The Den on Saturday.
Pompey travelled to South-East London on 5th April but fell to a late 2-1 defeat as a Mihailo Ivanovic brace cancelled out an Andre Dozzell equaliser.
The result wasn’t the main talking point of the day, as the Blues’ head coach was left complaining about the conduct of Millwall fans behind the dugout.
This could result in punishment for the Lions as a fan favourite of their rivals West Ham, Martin Allen shares his reaction to Mousinho’s complaint.

Allen questions Millwall after Portsmouth controversy
There has been no lack of controversy involving Millwall over the years, but that hasn’t stopped them from picking up the Family Club of the Year award back in 2017.
With that being said, there is still a section of the supporters who are letting the rest down and getting themselves caught up in controversy.
This saw Mousinho have conversations with referee Ben Toner and fourth official Alan Dale, accusing fans at The Den of using “discriminatory language”.
Former PGMOL chief Keith Hackett believes this could end in a large fine or stadium ban for the Lions, while former West Ham ace Allen questioned how the situation can be resolved.
Speaking exclusively to Pompey News, Allen said: “I don’t know what was said, but they’ve had problems over the years at Millwall.
“It isn’t all of them, so it is a very difficult situation.
“Millwall have worked extremely hard to make it better but they’ve clearly got more work to do. It’s such a difficult one.
“How do you stop it?“

Millwall must face punishment for Portsmouth antics
Pompey fell to defeat against Alex Neil’s men, leaving them 17th and just four points off the bottom three relegation places in the Championship.
Position | Club | Games played | Goal difference | Points |
17. | Portsmouth | 40 | -15 | 45 |
18. | Oxford United | 40 | -16 | 45 |
19. | Hull City | 40 | -8 | 44 |
20. | Stoke City | 40 | -12 | 43 |
21. | Derby County | 40 | -10 | 41 |
22. | Cardiff City | 40 | -20 | 41 |
The travelling fans wouldn’t have been blamed for voicing their frustrations but it was the home supporters who let themselves down.
This took away from the Lions’ win against the south coast outfit as the likes of Josh Murphy and Colby Bishop failed to impose themselves in the capital.
Now, Mousinho and Co. will await a further update from The Den, as punishment could be incoming after such an unsavoury afternoon.
