Portsmouth ‘to pull off another Devlin transfer masterclass’ as exciting update drops
Portsmouth struck gold when they signed Terry Devlin, who has excelled ever since, and they could now repeat this masterclass.
Pompey have enjoyed a strong season in their first Championship campaign in 12 years, beating relegation with games to spare despite operating on a low budget.
John Mousinho will hope to add more to his squad this summer, but Portsmouth will have to outsmart the market as they compete with a lot of huge clubs in the second division.
Devlin has been a superb signing, and Portsmouth now look set to follow the same route with another transfer target.

Portsmouth want to sign Tomas Galvin
It has now emerged that Portsmouth are interested in signing Dungannon Swifts striker Tomas Galvin, who is impressing in Northern Ireland.
Galvin is attracting interest from several Championship clubs including Wrexham, as the 20-year-old has scored 17 goals in 70 games for Dungannon.

The 20-year-old is regarded as an up-and-coming striker, and Portsmouth are keen on adding him as a younger option to bolster their attacking options.
Portsmouth could hold an edge in the race to sign him, as a result of Devlin’s success at Fratton Park.

Galvin could follow Devlin route to Portsmouth
Devlin was also signed from Northern Ireland, and joined Portsmouth from Glentoran, having begun his career at Dungannon.
The right-back has since thrived, and the 21-year-old was an excellent buy as his value and reputation will soar, having been discovered through intelligent scouting in the region.
It seems that Portsmouth want to repeat their masterclass by signing Galvin directly from Dungannon, and given that he could potentially join Devlin at Pompey, he may choose to move to Fratton Park over the other Championship clubs linked.
Portsmouth could prioritise Galvin’s transfer, with another squad option needed upfront ahead of several potential departures in that position.
With Portsmouth unable to spend as big as the likes of Southampton and Leicester will in the Championship, smart signings like Devlin will be necessary to compete, and Galvin could end up following in his footsteps if he ends up joining.
