‘Blair has point to prove in Portsmouth v Hull City’ amid Abu Kamara development
Harvey Blair will be keen to make a name for himself as Portsmouth prepare to face Abu Kamara and Hull City on Saturday.
Pompey are preparing to welcome Ruben Selles’ side to Fratton Park on the final day of the Championship (3 May) with safety already secure.
The same can’t be said of the Tigers, who need to secure a positive result in an effort to avoid relegation to League One.
This will likely see Kamara have an impact for the away side, while Blair will be hoping to have a telling impact of his own under John Mousinho.

Blair must prove himself for Portsmouth v Hull City
There is no doubt that the 21-year-old has the ability and hasn’t necessarily been given the chance to showcase that this season.
This has seen the winger make just two second-tier starts since signing from Liverpool on a free transfer earlier in the season.
Blair was awarded a start against Sheffield Wednesday and got on the scoresheet for the first time in a blue shirt.

This could see the Englishman start once again in Pompey’s next outing, with hopes that he can kick on moving into a new season.
There is every chance that this could take a hit if Hull are relegated and Kamara looks to be on the move from the MKM Stadium.
The 21-year-old was electric on loan in PO4 last season and would certainly represent an excellent signing if he were to return.
The final day of the season could represent a dress rehearsal for the winger before a Fratton Park reunion, spelling bad news for Blair.

Kamara could make Portsmouth return
There is no doubt that the south coast club will be on the hunt for new forward options once the summer transfer window opens up.
Players in the same ilk as Josh Murphy are exactly what is needed at Pompey as they look to move up the Championship moving forward.
This could see an alternative for an ageing Matt Ritchie be targeted, while Blair looks to break through to become a first-team regular.
It will be interesting to see what the future holds for Kamara, who may welcome a return to Pompey if handed the opportunity in the summer.
