Portsmouth make Crystal Palace international ace ‘top target’ to sign in summer
Portsmouth have secured their place in the Championship for a second consecutive season, but face another tough challenge.
John Mousinho has enjoyed a strong season as Portsmouth beat the drop in their first Championship campaign in 12 years.
Pompey have one of the lowest budgets in the division, and they will need to punch well above their weight again if they are to survive.
They will have to strengthen their squad, and one player from the Premier League is now being targeted.

Portsmouth target Crystal Palace starlet Hindolo Mustapha
Portsmouth could again dip into the loan market to help boost their squad after the success of Freddie Potts.
Potts joined on loan from West Ham and excelled in midfield, and he will need replacing this summer.
It is unclear whether Potts could remain at Fratton Park or if he will return to West Ham to be a part of their squad next season.

This has led Portsmouth to Crystal Palace starlet Hindolo Mustapha, with Pompey reportedly keen on signing the youngster as their top target.
It has now been reported by London News Online (1 May), that Portsmouth want to sign Mustapha on a loan deal for next season.

Who is Portsmouth target Mustapha?
Mustapha is an 18-year-old midfielder who has excelled at one of the best academies in the country at Crystal Palace.
At under-21 level, Mustapha has scored nine goals and provided five assists in 23 games across all competitions this is.
The teenager has already been capped by Sierra Leone on the international stage, and has earned himself two caps and one goal.
Mustapha typically plays as an attacking midfielder or on both wings, and he would bring goals from midfield which have otherwise been lacking at times.
Crystal Palace have impressed under Oliver Glasner and have reached the FA Cup final, but Mustapha is unlikely to break into their side next season without a loan first.
Portsmouth could use Mustapha to strengthen their options in the middle of the park, particularly if they cannot sign Potts again, and the teenager could be a worthwhile signing if they can convince him to join.
