‘Freddie Potts could make Watford move’ as Mousinho update emerges at Portsmouth
Freddie Potts could be in line for a move to Watford in the summer as John Mousinho is eyed at Portsmouth.
The 21-year-old has spent the season on loan with Pompey and has performed to an excellent level as survival was achieved.
This sparked many fans into asking him to stay after the final matchday of the campaign at Fratton Park as his return to West Ham was confirmed.
It is yet to be seen whether the Hammers will keep or look to move Potts on, but if they do, he could be set to potentially follow Mousinho to Watford.

Potts could join Watford with Mousinho
With the main Championship season now over, many clubs are making decisions ready for a busy summer of transfer action.
Although nothing has yet happened on the south coast, Watford have already moved to make a major change in the dugout.
Despite a generally stable campaign, Tom Cleverley has been let go from his role as head coach, much to the dismay of the Hornets’ fans.
With that being said, a new manager is being sought after, and Mousinho has been named as the third favourite for the role at 9/1 [Sportscaster, 6 May].
If the Englishman were to make the move to Vicarage Road, there is every chance he could look to take some of his Pompey favourites to the capital.
That may include someone like Josh Murphy, who has been electric this campaign, although Potts could prove to be a more realistic option.
If West Ham do decide to loan the young midfielder again, linking up with Mousinho at Watford could prove to make sense.

Potts and Mousinho could depart Portsmouth at once
The PO4 outfit already looks destined to be without Potts for the upcoming season as West Ham looks to make the most of his talents.
This could see Graham Potter keep hold of him throughout preseason to understand whether he could cut it at Premier League level.

If that isn’t the case and Mousinho had already moved on to Watford, there is every chance a move to link up with the head coach could be attractive.
This would leave Pompey with just Andre Dozzell as a midfield option, if he decides to stay, which would not be a good place to be.
