Portsmouth insider shares what he knows for fact about Mousinho, ‘enticing offers’
John Mousinho’s Portsmouth future is up in the air at the moment.
The former Burton Albion player has worked wonders at Fratton Park since taking the reins as manager, securing promotion last season before keeping Pompey in the Championship.
Mousinho has been heavily praised for those achievements, with the likes of West Brom and Norwich taking notice of what he has done in PO4.

Portsmouth plan for worst-case scenario amid Mousinho exit fears
The Championship outfit will have plans in place if Mousinho does depart but Pompey supporters may be encouraged by a new prediction.
Iconic commentator and Blues supporter Ian Darke believes that the 39-year-old will stay in Hampshire but the ownership need to give him assurances about the direction of the club.
Speaking exclusively to Pompey News, he said: “You would like to think in this era, clubs like Brighton have set the way with this, that you need in football now, succession planning, you have to plan for the worst-case scenario.
“You would like to think that people are already thinking, if we lose this player or the manager, then they have got an idea in their heads about the people they would go to.
“The bottom line is, Mousinho, I know for a fact, is amazingly grateful for the fact that Portsmouth took a big chance on him, he had never managed a club before.

“They took a punt on him, the punt worked out for them , he won promotion, he kept them in the Championship as well.
“I think it would take quite an enticing offer for him to go, the trail seems to have gone cold in recent days, I am expecting at the moment, that he will stay.
“I think he just needs to be assured by the Eisner family that there is an ambition to do something more than just survive next season, that the club can kick on into the top half of the table, maybe even think about making the play-offs.”

Portsmouth need assurances on Mousinho future
Portsmouth need assurances from Mousinho over his future, because speculation refuses to go away about a potential exit.
It will be a huge challenge to keep the promising boss as he has caught the eye of several higher-reputation clubs that could swoop but the Eisners could persuade him to stay put.
Pompey need their leader to sign a new deal and show his commitment to the club in the face of growing interest in his services.
