Portsmouth set to go global with Michael Eisner’s new plan, fans will be thrilled
Michael Eisner’s plan looks set to bring international recognition to Portsmouth, and it well serve as a huge benefit on and off the pitch.
With Portsmouth having secured another season in the Championship, the sky is the limit from here on out, and it is imperative that they take advantage of any opportunities that arise.
Not only will plenty of the focus be on recruitment at Fratton Park, but those behind the scenes will be looking to maximise sponsorship and contractual opportunities to reap the financial rewards.
With that said, the latest plan set in place by Eisner looks set to achieve that, and it could have some major benefits going forward.

Wrexham’s success to be replicated by Pompey
Portsmouth are a huge club, and very few will argue against that, but there will always be opportunities to expand their fan base and broaden their net around the world.
With that in mind, Eisner has confirmed that the Blues will be looking into their own documentary series to showcase the happenings behind the scenes, very similar to what Wrexham and Sunderland have done in recent years.

Games managed | 124 |

Both clubs found plenty of success from their respective documentaries, and the opportunities that arose from that were astounding.
Not only did it serve as a financial benefit, but it also exposed the passion among the fanbase to fans from other areas of the world, while also giving foreign players a brief introduction of what it means to play for such a big club.
With time, the documentary would undoubtedly see Pompey go global, and it may be what they need to start competing towards the top end of English football once again. To say the least, fans would be delighted with that.

John Mousinho may not star in Portsmouth documentary
John Mousinho has spearheaded Pompey’s survival attempts this season, though that has ultimately come at somewhat of a cost for the Blues.
His impressive work at Fratton Park has seen him linked with moves away from Portsmouth, and should an exit occur, it would be a huge blow to their chances of progressing even further next season.
