Portsmouth transfer news: BBC journo drops triple update including Sunderland ace
Portsmouth’s transfer business will be vital to keep their Championship status next season.
John Mousinho kept Pompey in the division but faces a difficult task to do so again, if he remains as their manager.
The 39-year-old has been linked with an exit in recent weeks but iconic commentator and Blues fan Ian Darke told Pompey News that he believes he will stay and just needs to be backed by the Eisners.

Portsmouth ruled out of three transfers
The Fratton Park outfit must get their business right in the summer, it could define their ambitions for the new season.
A report from BBC journalist Andrew Moon (16 May) has ruled out transfers for Ryan Ledson, Abdoulie Manneh and Sunderland star Nectar Triantis.
The latter has impressed on loan at Hibernian and has been labelled as the “Aussie Rodri” by Mackems supporters, who are keen to have him back at the Stadium of Light [Mackem News].
Mousinho must be backed this summer
If the South Coast side manages to keep hold of their in-demand manager, they must give him the funding that he needs to improve the squad.
Pompey survived in the second tier with a five-point margin to the relegation zone but if they fail to strengthen, they could be in trouble again depending on what kind of business that their rivals do.
Championship | Played | GD | Points |

Mousinho will hope that the owners decide to back him this summer, and sign off on transfers like Crystal Palace youngster Hindolo Mustapha, who the boss believes is ready to thrive in the division after watching him in action.
If they fail to do, the promising coach may decide that his future lies elsewhere, somewhere where he will be given the tools that he needs to take the club further.
The board need to show their ambition, that they want to return to the Premier League eventually and not just be comfortable with survival, otherwise they could lose a potentially great manager that has already worked wonders on a small budget.
If they want to keep Mousinho around for the long-term, they need to show that their ambitions are in line with his.
