Callum Lang reacts as Preston North End transfer finalised
Callum Lang had a solid season for Portsmouth.
The 26-year-old notched 10 goals and two assists as John Mousinho‘s side survived by a five-point margin in their first season back in the Championship.
He will be looking to help the Fratton Park outfit take a step towards a return to the Premier League next season after establishing their place in the second tier upon their return to the division.

Portsmouth star Lang reacts as Iversen transfer confirmed
Former Leicester City goalkeeper Daniel Iversen took to Instagram (27 May) to confirm a transfer to Pompey’s Championship rivals Preston North End.
Lang played with the former Foxes ace at Oldham Athletic in the 2018/19 season and reacted to the post.
The Pompey star liked the post with the announcement of the move from his former teammate in the North West of England.
Lang can step up for Portsmouth next season
Attention will soon turn to Pompey’s transfers, as the Eisners look to back Mousinho to take the PO4 outfit further towards the top-flight.
Lang may find himself in competition with new recruits for a place in the team but he can be the man to step up for the Blues next season, given his exploits in his first campaign back in the second tier after promotion from League One.

His return this season is an encouraging one, considering that he had issues with injury and he will be confident that he can do even better with more experience under his and Mousinho’s belt in the division.
It is absolutely vital that Pompey strengthen in the transfer market so they are not left behind by their rivals and can keep the former Burton Albion man around, given the interest from several managerless clubs in his services.
If the former top-flight club cannot give their manager the tools that he needs, then he may be tempted when the interest comes back around once the campaign begins.
It is a promising time to be a Pompey fan after another successful campaign under the 39-year-old and if the former Wigan star can step up to lead the forward line, the next one could be even better.
