John Mousinho backed to sign different West Ham ace for Portsmouth
Portsmouth could be set to make a summer swoop for another West Ham talent.
Pompey made good use of the loan market before the season began with the addition of Freddie Potts from the London Stadium.
It is fair to say that the 21-year-old had a positive impact in his temporary spell, playing a key role for John Mousinho in the Championship.
The head coach in PO4 could now be set to replicate this signing by returning to the Hammers, ready for the upcoming window.

Portsmouth backed to sign new West Ham ace
It is certainly going to be difficult to replace the talents of the English midfielder after all the good work he did in the middle of the pitch throughout the campaign.
In a midfield which often rotated between the likes of Andre Dozzell and Isaac Hayden towards the end of the season, the Irons loanee was an ever-present.

This form is likely to make him more of a regular next season under Graham Potter, which is bound to come as a blow to Mousinho.
With that being said, another young option could be brought in from West Ham to cover for the departure of Potts.
This comes after former Pompey midfielder Martin Allen put forward Lewis Orford as a potential signing this summer to help boost his development, in a similar way to his Hammers teammate.
Speaking to West Ham Zone (31 May), he said: “If he were to go out on loan, I’d have a clause in the contract so that there’s an option to recall him on 31 December or 1 January.
“If he does do really well and West Ham need him and they think he’s better than what they’ve got, they can bring him back. I think it would be a good move for him [to go to Portsmouth], they’ve done extremely well under John Mousinho.
“The good thing about going to Portsmouth on loan is that you’re going to a passionate, positive fan base. They don’t just sit around and eat prawn sandwiches, they are proper football fans and they give it plenty.
“It’s a great experience for a young player to go into and get amongst it to learn what it’s like at the top level. For Mousinho and Orford, I think that would be a really good move.”

Orford could shine at Portsmouth on loan
There is no doubt that the upcoming window is going to be an extremely busy one at Fratton Park after a sizable number of departures already.
The majority of these have been at the end of loan spells with Hayden, Robert Atkinson and Adil Aouchiche, among others, returning to their parent clubs.
Another of those is Potts, who could be perfectly be replaced by Orford who is in desperate need of senior minutes at 19-years-old.
Time will tell whether Potter will let him go after handing the teenage midfielder two Premier League appearances so far.
If the Englishman is to let the youngster move temporarily, Pompey could be in the perfect position to pounce, coming into the summer.
