Portsmouth fans outraged after Pompey confirm deal – ‘He’s not good enough’
Portsmouth fans are continuing to wait patiently for new signings at Fratton Park this summer.
Pompey let multiple stars go in their retained list, with numerous other loanees returning to their parent clubs.
Therefore, signings are undoubtedly needed, but John Mousinho is yet to bring a single player through the door this summer.
Instead, Portsmouth have seemingly been focusing on tying players down to new contracts.

Portsmouth fans blast decision to offer Ben Killip new contract
Ben Killip is the latest Portsmouth player to sign a new deal as he extended his stay at Fratton Park until 2027 on Tuesday.
The goalkeeper joined Pompey in February and made two appearances this campaign after being used as a back-up.
With his contract set to expire in June, Mousinho has quickly tied down the goalkeeper, ensuring that he will be with the squad for the 2025/26 season.
However, not all of the Fratton Park faithful are happy with this news as they believe the Killip is “not good enough” to play for Portsmouth.
However, many Portsmouth fans were pleased about the news as they see Killip as a solid back-up goalkeeper.
Killip deal is smart business from Portsmouth
While many might not be happy with the deal, Killip’s new deal is smart for Portsmouth.
The goalkeeper is now well acquainted with his surroundings at Fratton Park and has experience playing in the Championship.
There is no point in the South Coast club releasing the keeper to then have to find another back-up.

While his performance against Hull City may have been shaky, it was a nothing match that meant very little.
Against Sheffield Wednesday, Mousinho praised Killip for his role in the 1-1 draw in what proved to be a crucial point.
Hopefully, if the goalkeeper is called upon again next season, he will prove his doubters wrong.
