Jordan Cross reveals what he noticed about Adrian Segecic in Portsmouth training
Portsmouth fans have plenty to be excited about with the arrival of Adrian Segecic.
Portsmouth’s pre-season preparations are already underway, as the Blues look to go one step further under John Mousinho in the Championship.
Recruitment is going to play a crucial role in the success that Pompey can find next season, having already concluded a deal to sign Segegic in June.
Segecic has already been tipped for great things, with footage now emerging of him in training.

Segecic impresses in pre-season training
Portsmouth have a lot to look forward to with Segecic, who arrives at Pompey off the back of an impressive campaign with A-League outfit Sydney FC.
The 21-year-old registered 21 goal contributions in 36 appearances across all competitions, having typically operated as a left-winger.

His versatility can see him play in a multitude of positions, which will be used to Mousinho’s advantage, who will be delighted with the small glimpse into his quality.
Via Jordan Cross on X (2 July), footage was shared of the Australian in training, with the journalist expressing how “sharp” the forward looked.
Of course, with the season still some time away yet, the main focus for most players will be getting back to match fitness, which for Segecic doesn’t seem like it will be a problem.
Mousinho needs more additions at Fratton Park
Mousinho has done an excellent job with Portsmouth in the Championship, though their ability to progress even further will be restricted by what they do this summer.
Teams around Pompey will be strengthening all over the pitch. Therefore, it will be crucial that Mousinho’s side follow suit and do the same.
Segecic’s arrival was certainly an exciting one, and the hope will be that Portsmouth can seal several more additions of that calibre and have a real go at pushing up the Championship table next season, and get one step closer to the Premier League.
