West Ham player reveals he’s rejected Portsmouth transfer
Portsmouth are looking to add to their attacking options in their squad this summer.
Adrian Segecic joined Pompey from Sydney FC after winning the Golden Boot in the A-League.
John Mousinho is not set to stop here, with the South Coast club continuing to look at potential additions in attack.
However, fans of the South Coast club may have to wait a while until a few forward is brought in after recent developments.

West Ham ‘too good to turn down’ – Cummings
Daniel Cummings had been on Portsmouth’s radar as a potential signing this summer.
The 19-year-old had progressed through Celtic’s youth system in Scotland and showed plenty of potential.
In the academy, Cummings netted 38 times for Celtic FC B in 58 matches throughout his time in Glasgow.

As a result, the forward made his competitive debut for Celtic in January as he came on in the Champions League against Aston Villa.
However, Mousinho has now missed out on the attacker as he officially signs for West Ham.
Now, he has signed a long-term contract at the London club, the Scotland youth international explained that West Ham were “too good to turn down”.
He told West Ham’s official website (1 July): “It feels amazing to join West Ham United, and it’s a dream come true. It’s every young footballer’s dream to play in the Premier League, so when West Ham came calling, it was too good to say no, and I’mlooking forward to getting started.
“Since day one, when Mark [Noble] was on the phone, he spoke so highly of everyone here and sold the Club to me.
“I did a lot of research about the Club and there’s a pathway to the first team, and that’s all you can ask for as a young player. I’ve been at Celtic since the age of five and have played for their B team in the Lowland League for the last few years.
“I’ve played in the UEFA Youth League, and also managed to make my first-team debut in January against Aston Villa in the Champions League, and all of these experiences have provided the perfect preparation for my next step here at West Ham.
“I arrive here full of confidence. I loved every minute of last season because I went into every game feeling like I was going to score, and to do that on the big stage in the likes of the UEFA Youth League was amazing.”

Portsmouth need more attacking reinforcements this summer
While the signing of Segecic will provide more cover for Mousinho going into the new campaign, Pompey are still in need of more attacking reinforcements.
Quality back-ups are a must, with Portsmouth not having many players capable of stepping up into the first team if required.
Cummings would have been a great addition for this reason. However, now it is certain he won’t be moving to Fratton Park, Mousinho must quickly move on.
A loan deal from a Premier League club may be a way forward, but it remains to be seen if they will willingly let one of their upcoming talents sit on the bench for the majority of the campaign.
