Mattsson and a five-goal ace – Three players Portsmouth want to sign right now
John Mousinho is keen to add to his squad this summer.
The Pompey manager guided the South Coast club to a successful return to the Championship last season as they finished 16th.
However, signings are important if Portsmouth are to build on their recent achievements.
Mousinho has only signed Adrian Segecic so far this summer, who joined from Sydney FC.
However, there are plenty of players linked to Fratton Park. Therefore, Portsmouth News has delivered a round-up of all the stars who have recently been linked to the South Coast club.

Nathan Ferguson
One star Portsmouth are believed to be looking at is Nathan Ferguson.
The left-back recently departed Crystal Palace after he struggled for fitness at the London club.
The 24-year-old made a sole competitive appearance for the Eagles between 2020 and 2025.
However, Ferguson is currently on trial at Portsmouth and is currently in Slovakia as part of their pre-season tour.
As a result, if he impresses Mousinho, there is every chance that he will be offered a contract at the South Coast club.
Pelle Mattsson
Pelle Mattsson is on Portsmouth’s radar this summer after impressing at Silkeborg IF.
In Denmark, he is seen as one of the country’s best upcoming talents, and he won the Danish Cup in 2024.
Mousinho is eyeing the 23-year-old as a potential replacement for Freddie Potts who returned to West Ham.
However, Pompey face a race for his signature, with recent reports indicating that Norwich have placed a £1.7 million bid for Mattsson.

Mark Kosznovszky
Mark Kosznovszky has been linked with a move to Portsmouth.
The Hungarian midfielder has become a star at MTK Budapest and looks to be on the move this summer.

Portsmouth were believed to have submitted a bid for Kosznovszky, with Swansea City and Sheffield Wednesday also interested.
However, it has now been reported that MTK Budapest want a seven figure fee for the midfielder, which could prove to be a problem for Mousinho.
