Portsmouth to sign Mark Kosznovszky for ‘extremely high fee’
Mark Kosznovszky looks set to become Portsmouth’s third signing of the summer.
Portsmouth and MTK Budapest agreed on a fee for Kosznovszky earlier this week after he impressed in Hungary.
The 23-year-old will follow Adrian Segecic and John Swift through the door at Pompey as the transfer window begins to heat up.
Now, John Mousinho is looking to quickly finalise the deal and secure the midfielder.

Portsmouth ironing out final details for Kosznovszky
There had been a fear that Blackburn might swoop in for Kosznovszky after reports emerged that the Championship side were interested.
However, it has now been confirmed by Rangado (16 July) that the 23-year-old is almost certain to join Portsmouth this summer.
The Hungarian club’s sports director, Balázs Polyák, told the outlet that they are very close to an agreement for the midfielder, and only the details remain to be ironed out.
He is then quoted to have said: “The starting fee is extremely high from MTK’s perspective.”
While there is no confirmation in the article on what this fee is, previous reports have indicated that it is around £1.3 million.

Kosznovszky will have a lot to prove at Portsmouth
While there is no doubt that Kosznovszky has been a success in Hungary, there is a big difference between their division and the Championship.
Therefore, scepticism will be high surrounding his ability when he does arrive at Fratton Park, and the midfielder will have a lot to prove.

However, Mousinho rarely gets these things wrong, and it is likely that Kosznovszky will prove to be a bargain at the South Coast club.
Hopefully, the deal can now be completed as soon as possible to allow the 23-year-old to partake in pre-season.
A quick start to the Championship season is a must for Portsmouth, and getting players like Kosznovszky up to speed is vital to achieving this.
