Adrian Segecic shares final international call after Portsmouth transfer
Adrian Segecic is perhaps the most exciting piece of business Portsmouth have conducted so far.
The 21-year-old lit up the Australian A-League last season for Sydney FC, unbelievably netting 13 goals in just 14 starts.
Segecic has already bagged his first goal in a Pompey shirt too, scoring in a pre-season victory against Woking.
Whether he is deployed just behind the striker or out wide, John Mousinho looks to have brought a talented player in at Fratton Park.

Segecic makes his ambitions clear ahead of Championship campaign
Mark Kosznovszky could be joining Segecic in action on the south coast soon, with the midfielder set to undergo a medical at Pompey.
Segecic will be keeping a particularly close eye on the rumours regarding any potential new arrivals in PO4, with a strong Pompey squad helping his dream of thriving and earning a place in Australia’s World Cup squad.
The youngster, who is also eligible to play for Croatia through his grandparents, has already been tipped to be called up to the Australian national side, with the ‘Soccer Ashes’ set to take place in September.
Speaking to The News (21 July), Segecic detailed his dream of representing the Socceroos on football’s biggest stage.
“The World Cup’s definitely a target for me – but my main focus is here at Portsmouth,” he said.
“If I’m playing here and doing well, then one thing is going to lead to the other.
“Obviously, the World Cup would be amazing. To go and play at a World Cup at my age would be a dream, especially for Australia.
“We’ve qualified, so it’s just about being able to make the squad – playing for Portsmouth and doing well here gives the chance for that to happen.”

Portsmouth have quietly assembled an exciting front four for next season
After Pompey fans’ fears were put to rest after the Blues rejected a £2million bid from Preston for Callum Lang, the attacking options at Mousinho’s disposal will scare most sides in the second tier.
With Colby Bishop leading the line with Lang just behind him and Segecic and Josh Murphy on either wing, there will not be a shortage of goals at Fratton Park next season.
Although John Swift will likely play deeper in the midfield next season, he could also play further forward if needed.
After arriving on a free transfer after West Brom did not renew his stay in the Black Country, Swift has already impressed in pre-season against Crawley, giving Mousinho plenty of options for next season.
Now, it’s time for Segecic to prove himself for the biggest stage.
