Bradford agree last-ditch deal with Portsmouth for deadline-busting loan deal
Portsmouth have had a busy deadline day so far as John Mousinho makes last-minute changes to his squad.
Makenzie Kirk has come through the door at Fratton Park, with Josef Bursik also arriving at the South Coast club.
Portsmouth are also keen to add Conor Chaplin, in what would no doubt be a sensational return.
However, departures have also occurred, with Portsmouth cancelling the contract of Abdoulaye Kamara.
Further exits could well happen before the transfer window closes at 7pm.

Bradford agree loan deal for Tom McIntyre
Tom McIntyre has struggled to get into Portsmouth’s squad since signing in 2024.
The defender has only made a handful of appearances to date and was sent on loan to Charlton Athletic in the latter half of the 2024/25 campaign.
As a result, Portsmouth have been keen to move on McIntyre before the transfer window shuts, and Mousinho seems to have got his wish.
- McIntyre joined Portsmouth from Reading in January 2024
- The defender has only made 14 appearances for Pompey
- McIntyre now looks to set for another loan move away from Fratton Park
According to Mirror reporter Dan Marsh via X on 1 September, the defender is close to moving to Bradford on loan.
A deal has been agreed, with the League One outfit beating numerous clubs to his signature.
Portsmouth set for an all-timer transfer deadline day
While plenty can still happen on deadline day, it has no doubt been a sensational window if the final deals all go through.
On top of incomings, Mousinho will have successfully rid himself of the outcasts at Fratton Park, which is a massive plus.
By sending McIntyre out on loan, it gives Pompey a chance to potentially sell the defender at a later date rather than let his value plummet in the reserves.
Hopefully, McIntyre will also get his career back on track and find success at Bradford if the deal does go through.
