Callum Lang and nine others currently set to leave Portsmouth in 2026

Portsmouth have several contract decisions to make over the next few months.

With Portsmouth’s summer recruitment now ended, all attention will be on the fixtures between now and the January transfer window.

However, between now and then, John Mousinho will need to address the contract situations involving 10 of Pompey’s first team players, who, as things stand, are in line to move on from Fratton Park in 2026.

Callum Lang is among the list of names who could leave, as Pompey News highlights the decisions that need to be made.

Portsmouth must extend Callum Lang contract

Lang has had his injury troubles throughout his time at Fratton Park, but when fit, he is capable of producing special moments for Pompey.

It is understood that Portsmouth have the option to extend his contract for a year, and given his talent and age, it is a no-brainer to see that triggered.

Lang joined Pompey from Wigan in 2024, and since then, he has registered 14 goals in 47 appearances across all competitions.

With just three assists to his name, that is a clear area in which he needs to improve, but if he can regain full fitness, he has every chance of doing so.

Nine others set for Portsmouth exit next summer as it stands

Aside from Lang, Portsmouth also have nine other players whose contracts are coming to an end next summer.

Loanees Conor Chaplin, Florian Bianchini and Min-hyeok Yang are the three obvious ones, though the likes of Connor Ogilvie and Andre Dozzell also feature.

Ogilvie seems like another no-brainer for Portsmouth, given the fact that he has been a mainstay in the side since joining in 2021.

The same can be said for Andre Dozzell, who scored in Portsmouth’s 1-0 win over Preston last time out.

As always, these players are free to negotiate a free transfer abroad in January, showcasing the need for them to be addressed.
