John Mousinho feelings will be clear after Adrian Segecic twist on Australia duty
Adrian Segecic has had a brilliant start to his Portsmouth career.
Segecic signed for Portsmouth from Sydney FC this summer and has been one of the key players in their quick start to the season.
The Australian has already bagged two goals in four games for his new side, who sit just outside the Championship play-off spots.
Segecic has already garnered praise from his Portsmouth teammates, with the Pompey faithful also taking to the new signing.
John Mousinho will be hoping he continues his good form, with a derby showdown against Southampton to come on Sunday.

Adrian Segecic handed some surprising Socceroos news
Segecic earned his first international call-up with Australia during this international break.
The 21-year-old looked set to win his first cap as Australia played New Zealand in a double-header.
The Portsmouth forward, however, was an unused sub in the first game and did not even make the 23-man squad for the return fixture.
Socceroos boss Tony Popovic told the Sydney Morning Herald that while he did not use him this time, Segecic may be an option in the future.
He said: “We have limited time with these players, but the point of this exercise was to bring young, talented, potential players for the future and see where they fit in.
“We’ll be happy either way. We have learned a lot about them, regardless of who gets minutes”
This news will be welcome to Mousinho, who does not need any fresh injury concerns ahead of the crunch clash on Sunday.
While a trip to the other side of the world isn’t ideal, Segecic has come out of the journey unscathed and hopefully ready for Southampton.

John Mousinho knows the importance of Adrian Segecic
Segecic grabbed the winner against Oxford United on his debut and has been vital to Portsmouth’s endeavours ever since.
The Australian will be a key player for Mousinho’s men against Southampton as they look for their first win over their rivals since 2010
Segecic avoiding injury for Australia means that Mousinho can use him to full effect against Southampton.
- It’s Portsmouth’s first meeting in the league against Southampton since 2012
- They lost 4-0 to Southampton in their last meeting in 2019 in the Carabao Cup
- Portsmouth have only beaten Southampton 21 times, losing on 35 occasions
If Portsmouth are to continue their good start to the season, Segecic will undoubtedly be one of the main reasons why.
