Southampton vs Portsmouth postponement latest as Met Office issue weather warning
Portsmouth fans have no doubt got plenty of issues heading into their match against Southampton.
It has already been confirmed that Portsmouth fans will have to arrive at their coach one hour before departure if they are travelling to the match with the club.
This comes after Southampton charged £40 for an adult away ticket for the South Coast derby, in another highly controversial decision.
Now, Pompey fans could have further problems ahead of the game, with the weather now coming into play.

Met Office issues yellow weather warning for Sunday
On the Met Office’s website on 12 September, it was confirmed that most of England has a yellow weather warning for wind.
Southampton was one of many areas affected, with the website warning that there will be delays to road, rail and air transportation.
- Portsmouth are currently one point off the playoffs in eighth
- Pompey have won two of their first four Championship matches, drawing one
- Mousinho’s side did however crash out of the Carabao Cup to Reading
This comes after Portsmouth fans are already expected to experience delays on the train, with a replacement bus service in use for the line between Eastleigh and Southampton.
However, luckily, this weather warning will not affect the match, with it set to take place between 8pm on Sunday and 6pm on Monday.
Therefore, the match should go ahead as normal.

St. Mary’s sold out for Southampton vs Portsmouth
Given how big this game is, it is little surprise that the match has sold out.
Both Southampton and Portsmouth have no tickets left on sale, with Pompey fans quickly snapping up their 2,700 allocation.
With Mousinho having Marlon Pack back available to him, the manager is in an excellent position to not only get a result but potentially win the tie.
Therefore, it will no doubt be a sensational occasion, and hopefully, Portsmouth will come out on top and pick up their first win over their rivals since 2010.
