Ipswich Town vs Portsmouth: Weather update, ticket information, away guide

Portsmouth are on the road again on Saturday as they look to return to form against Ipswich Town.

After Portsmouth’s terrible display against Sheffield Wednesday on the weekend, John Mousinho will be looking for a positive performance against the Tractor Boys.

However, it will no doubt be a tough task, as Ipswich still possess a good squad despite their early-season struggles.

On top of this, with Conor Chaplin unable to play against Ipswich Town due to it being its parent club, it will give more problems for Mousinho to solve.

Now, Pompey News has highlighted everything you need to know about the upcoming clash below.

Portsmouth tickets sold out for Ipswich Town clash

Any Pompey fans looking to make last-minute plans for the match at Portman Road are out of luck.

Away tickets for the clash sold out last week, with Portsmouth set to take 2,000 supporters to cheer on Mousinho’s side.

For Ipswich, there are still multiple tickets left, mainly in the West Stand, but many of the available seats have restricted viewing of the match.

Overall, the match should be close to a sell-out, in what will be an entertaining tie.

Away guide travel for Portsmouth Road

For fans planning to get to the stadium by car, there are plenty of parking spaces in and around the city, which are only a short walk from the ground.

There is also a car park next to the ground itself. However, this can fill up quickly on a matchday, and leaving at the end of the game can take a while.

If travelling by train, the nearest station is Ipswich Railway Station. This is only a five-minute walk from the ground.
