Portsmouth vs Middlesbrough result predicted by supercomputer
Portsmouth are set to welcome Middlesbrough to Fratton Park on Saturday in their final match before the international break.
It has been a tough few weeks for Pompey fans, with the South Coast club without a victory since August.
Portsmouth drew 2-2 with Watford on Wednesday, in what was a poor performance, as John Mousinho’s side were expected to win the match.
Now, the hosts face an even bigger task, with Middlesbrough up next, who are top of the Championship unbeaten.

Middlesbrough favourites ahead of Portsmouth clash
Pressure is starting to build on Mousinho as Pompey’s dire run of form continues.
Portsmouth have continued to struggle to score goals this season, netting just seven in eight Championship games to date.
On top of this, Portsmouth look increasingly likely to be in a relegation battle this campaign, as they tumble down the table.
Unfortunately, this does not look like ending anytime soon, with Opta on 3 October predicting that Middlesbrough will come out the winners in Saturday’s clash.

The visitors are seen as 41.8 per cent likely to come away with three points, whereas Pompey sit at just 32.7 per cent.
The chances of a draw stand at 25.5 per cent.
Portsmouth vs Middlesbrough head-to-head record
In recent years, Portsmouth have struggled against Middlesbrough.
In their last 11 meetings, Pompey have only come out the winners twice, with multiple matches ending in draws.
While a point would be seen as a good result on Saturday, a victory is no doubt needed after their dire run of form.

However, Portsmouth’s record at Fratton Park has been dreadful this season, which could pose further challenges on the weekend.
Hopefully, Pompey will be able to pick up a surprise victory and put their recent run of results behind them.
