Ella Humphrey signs new contract in Portsmouth Women announcement
Portsmouth Women have announced that Ella Humphrey has signed a one-year professional contract with her hometown club.
Humphrey, who joined the Blues on dual-registration terms in October 2022, made her move permanent in July 2023 and has now penned her first professional deal.
The 19-year-old forward scored eight goals last season despite having a challenging start.
Speaking to the club’s official website on Sunday (July 7), Head Coach Jay Sadler expressed his delight, saying: “I’m over the moon for Ella. Becoming a full-time professional footballer is one thing, but to do it at your childhood club must be a dream come true.”
