Portsmouth exploring Freddie Potts possibility
Portsmouth have been busy in the transfer market over the summer, as they have well needed to be.
Rich Hughes, John Mousinho and the Pompey backroom staff have been diligent in the current window to bring in players with Championship experience, alongside some exciting youngsters.
The onus had been on the club from the fans in recent weeks to splash some of the cash now available at Fratton Park following promotion – although not even touching the sides of the budgets at the disposal of those with parachute payments.

Potts’ development may see West Ham form the opinion that it is now worth the midfielder taking a crack at Championship football, after 36 appearances in League One with Wycombe last term.
The club will however also want assurances that their player will earn game time at the club – and with this week’s arrival of Dortmund midfielder Abdoulaye Kamara, coupled with Andre Dozzell’s recent signing, there could be a high level of competition.
