Portsmouth ace Callum Lang update emerges amid groin injury
Portsmouth attacker Callum Lang could likely return to training post his groin injury before the international break, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that the worst case would’ve been a complete tear which could’ve kept him out longer but that does not appear to be the case.
John Mousinho confirmed recently that the 26-year-old would be out for another two or three weeks.
Discussing his situation exclusively with Portsmouth News, Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said:
“The best case would be a Grade O injury – just discomfort without any over-tear – while the worst case would be a Grade 4 rupture which is a complete tear.
“However, this sounds more on the milder said according to the manager.
“I’d expect him back in training before the international break.“
Callum Lang can be an influential player for Portsmouth
Lang will be hoping to better last season’s performances but the injury setback certainly will not have helped him.
This term, he’s scored three goals and provided an assist in six league games – impressing Mousinho.

Hopefully, he continues the rich vein of form after the international break and ensures Pompey stay up and not get relegated come the end of the season.
