‘Bramall to be relieved’ as injury update emerges ahead of Millwall v Portsmouth
Portsmouth defender Cohen Bramall will be hopeful of continuing his run of minutes from the last two games against Millwall.
The 28-year-old has made back-to-back Championship starts for the first time this season in the Preston defeat and the Blackburn Rovers success.
The left-back featured for 89 minutes and maintained a clean sheet in the win against Valerien Ismael’s side as Pompey secured a much-needed three points.
Looking ahead to a clash against Millwall, an injury update is bound to help the Englishman maintain a positive run of form in a blue shirt.

Bramall wins as injury update emerges before Millwall clash
There is no doubt that the former Arsenal man has been putting in some positive performances since being given the chance by John Mousinho.
After joining in January, Bramall had made just seven appearances in the second tier with his only starts coming in the last two games.
This will come as a boost that the full-back won’t want to change in the coming weeks, starting with the clash at The Den on Saturday (5 April).
With that being said, he will be hoping to put in a positive performance, which is set to be made easier by the absence of Camiel Neghli for the Lions.
Alex Neil has revealed via Southwark News (1 April) that “he’s at least two weeks away” from reaching full fitness which will see him miss the clash against Pompey.
This will come as a boost for Mousinho and Co. who will be hoping for the best possible showings from Bramall moving forward.

Bramall must show class for Portsmouth
As a player with over 100 appearances for Rotherham United and 50 for Lincoln City and Colchester United, there is no doubt that the defender has excellent experience.
This should see him be a useful asset for Pompey moving forward as they look to survive in the Championship this campaign.
Position | Team | Games played | Goal difference | Points |
17. | Portsmouth | 39 | -14 | 45 |
18. | Stoke City | 39 | -12 | 42 |
19. | Oxford United | 39 | -17 | 42 |
20. | Hull City | 39 | -9 | 41 |
21. | Cardiff City | 39 | -20 | 40 |
22. | Derby County | 38 | -11 | 38 |
The win against Blackburn was a huge step towards that, and another three points against Millwall would likely guarantee the avoidance of relegation.
If Neil and the Lions are missing Miguel Azeez and Neghli, Bramall is likely to be the winner down the flank for the south coast outfit once again.
