Freddie Potts has returned to West Ham after his loan spell ended.
Portsmouth are now also out of the race for Rob Atkinson, with Bristol City looking set to keep the defender.
On top of this, John Mousinho has been linked away from Portsmouth as concerns for next season grow. However, this has not stopped the Pompey fanbase from having hope.

The Fratton Park faithful have always turned up in big numbers and the 2025/26 campaign is set to be no different.
According to Portsmouth (30 May), 12,000 season tickets have now been renewed, ready for the new season.
This is an incredible show of faith from the fanbase as the South Coast club embarks on a difficult transfer window.

CEO Andy Cullen recently admitted that Portsmouth’s spending power is low compared to the newly promoted sides.
However, despite fears of another relegation battle, this will not stop the Pompey fanbase from supporting their team next season.
Mousinho needs to ensure that Portsmouth’s fanbase is repaid for their support
Now that it is clear that Mousinho will be backed by the supporters next season, his task is to ensure that this faith is repaid.
The 2025/26 campaign is likely to be far more competitive near the bottom of the table as multiple sides has aspirations for the Championship top-half.
Newly promoted Birmingham City and Wrexham will both have dreams of Premier League football.
On top of this, Charlton have proved to be Portsmouth’s bogey side in recent years.
Therefore, it will no doubt be another big ask for Mousinho, but it is one that he can certainly achieve.
Hopefully, the success of thew current season can be followed up, with a top-half finish not out of the question if the transfer window is good.
