Portsmouth can exploit Southampton weakness after Will Still highlighted key problem
Portsmouth face Southampton this Sunday in their biggest game of the season so far.
Pompey travel to St. Mary’s this weekend looking for the first win over their great rivals since 2010.
Portsmouth fans are gearing up for the clash against Saints with bragging rights for the South Coast on the line.
John Mousinho’s side have made a decent start to the season, sitting just one point off the play-off spots.
They will be up against it away to Southampton, but they will be confident that they can cause them problems at St. Mary’s.

Will Still doesn’t want to ‘gift’ any goals to Pompey
Southampton come into the game against Portsmouth as favourites, but that doesn’t mean they’ll have it all their own way.
Saints boss Will Still has warned his side must not be complacent and hand the opposition chances.
Speaking after the draw against Ipswich, Still bemoaned the mistakes his side made, saying: “I think the frustrating thing is that we’ve gifted them that goal. We didn’t really need to do that.”
He also added that these mistakes are a familiar trend with his side: “We need to rub that out of our game because the main big chances have all come from direct mistakes from us.”
Mousinho will be very wary of the Saints’ vulnerabilities and will look to exploit them with his attacking options on Sunday.

Portsmouth have the weapons to hurt Southampton
Portsmouth fans should have some confidence that they can cause Southampton problems at this weekend.
New signing Conor Chaplin will be expected to slot in for his second debut for the club and could be a real difference maker.
Adrian Segecic has also been in good form since signing in the summer and will hopefully be fresh after the international break.
While it will be an uphill battle, Portsmouth will be hoping Southampton’s weaknesses will be there again and they can give the away fans something to cheer about.
